Dear Diary,
Earlier on today I saw William talking to Lilly. That could have meant only one thing (and not that he need's to find a revising partner) which is that he likes her. Personally I think he's too frigid too even ask her out and even if he did, she would say no. He's a nice, intelligent boy but let's be realistic - so are the rest of us. William's always been quite shy and even though I know him for quite a long time , I feel like I don't. He's weird. That's a way to put it. He doesn't open himself up to anyone about anything. Thinking about it, I might just know Lilly better than William and it's only been a few days.
Lilly's alright I suppose. She's hanging out with me and Cissy at lunchtimes for some company ; from what we've been talking about I've changed my mind about her. For example, yesterday while I was eating my healthy (only 213 calories) pasta salad , with fresh spinach and chopped pine nuts, Lilly ,out of nowhere , had the nerve and audacity to ask Cissy if she would have Bennett's children! Although it was surprising that Cissy did take it well-she only told Lilly to fuck off.
But what shocked me even more was what Lilly said to Cissy once she dramatically pointed out that she "was fat" .Cissy always makes a big fuss out of small things and it's mainly because she's an attention seeker. She's gets it from Bennett. Definitely. Who cares about Cissy when Lilly does something like that! She's only been here for roughly a week ; yet she's shouting at Cissy to not over react about being fat. Lunch just got a bit more interesting.
The reason I only hang out in the common room at lunch is I know Bennett and the rest of the boys don't. They usually go out for some chips and because Cissy's on a ( personally i think is dangerous) atkins diet she doesn't go. So we get to gossip once every now and again : boys, exams, rumours etc..
Gives me a chance to actually talk to her instead of seeing her in the corridor throwing herself at Bennett's feet- I do feel sorry for her.
